Leading Collaboration
Friday May 22nd, 2026, De Hoeve van Nunspeet, Netherlands
This May 2026 Sarah Fisk will visit the Netherlands and we are VERY excited that we could invite Sarah to host a workshop for us!
Topic
Working in groups is a common experience, but it doesn’t always go smoothly.
As facilitators, trainers, and leaders, how can we support our groups to navigate their own dynamics when conflicts and misunderstandings arise? What do we do when one or two people in a group begin to dominate the conversation, or someone becomes emotional, or repetitive, or even worse - an argument breaks out?
You are invited to spend a powerful, interactive, day with Sarah Fisk, PhD, a leading expert in Group Facilitation and a co-author of the best-selling Facilitators Guide to Participatory Decision-Making.
Whether you are a trainer, a train-the-trainer, coach, consultant, facilitator or leader, this is a rare chance to deepen your practice and develop your skills for when things go sideways and get challenging, weird or downright scary.
We will explore models of group dynamics, group development, and human communication, to understand the patterns and tendencies that can develop when people work together. We will look at normal stages of group life, and how they can sometimes lead to challenging situations.
You will learn strategies for responding to these demanding moments - and how to avoid them in the first place - based on Sarah’s decades of experience, and your own insights. There will be ample time to practice and acquire new skills.
Please feel welcome to bring your own scenarios if you have them - the more challenging the better! You can include any tactics or methods you have employed in difficult circumstances (successful or not!), and we will explore them and learn from each other. Beginners and experts equally welcome - we will create this group together.
If you work with groups of any kind, you will leave with a new perspective, and new methods and tools for your practice.
Join us for this unique opportunity with Sarah visiting the Netherlands!
